Brief and objectives
The brief was a senior living environment that does not feel like an institution but like a contemporary residential community. A place that balances privacy, support, intuitive orientation and shared living.

Solution
The strategy rests on a bright interior street that acts as the social heart of the project. From it are organised homes at a domestic scale, planted courtyards and common spaces for everyday gathering. Wood, glass, greenery and soft tones create the feeling of a home. Circulation stops being a corridor and becomes an experience: a place to walk, rest, talk and keep a constant relationship with outside.
User experience
Every spatial decision comes from daily life: benches at rest points, vegetation as a visual reference, transparency towards the gardens, shared lounges with a domestic character and a sequence of spaces that invites effortless movement. The result is an environment that communicates safety without rigidity, community without loss of privacy and well being without clinical language.
